Spelunky (from English to spelunk - explore caves) is an indie 2D action-adventure computer game with elements of roguelike. Version 1.0 was released on September 1, 2009 simultaneously with the announcement of the Xbox Live Arcade-version of the game, and version 1.1 was released simultaneously with the release of the source codes of the game - December 25, 2009, July 4, 2012 was released on the Xbox 360.
In this game, the player controls an adventure seeker who explores caves, collects treasures, and also saves girls in distress. The goal of the game is to collect gold, but you should not let the main character die. Game levels are randomly generated each time you start a game.
