3. How to Use It: Just push your blue OnStar button and ask the Advisor for directions. They can download Turn-by-Turn directions right to your vehicle and a voice will call out every turn. You can also search for directions in your vehicle’s mobile app and send them to your vehicle’s in-dash navigation system (if equipped).
4. All OnStar plans support remote control with the free OnStar app, available for iOS, Android, Windows Phone, and Blackberry devices. The app can remotely lock and unlock the car, start the engine.

If your car is no longer where you left it – presumably it has been stolen. OnStar¹ can help the police to find your car.
All you have to do: report the theft to the police. Your OnStar advisor can then assist the police to search for your car.

OnStar locates your Opel via GPS and follows its route. Thus, the police knows where your car is located.
Your OnStar advisor can permanently disable the ignition of your car once the engine has been switched off. This means the thief cannot drive any further.

Did you breakdown in an unknown area? Have weak mobile phone reception? Perhaps your phone battery is dead? Press the OnStar Service Button to contact an advisor.¹ The advisor will record your problem and support you in getting help. OnStar will contact [INSERT LOCAL PROVIDER, e.g., the AA, ADAC] and they will dispatch a professional breakdown recovery team to your location.2

How can I get OnStar
OnStar will send you an invitation by email. Just click on the link enclosed in the email and proceed as follows:

• Select your password and security questions

• Check and complete the personal data as well as the specifications concerning the vehicle

• Accept the OnStar and Wi-Fi terms

• Set up your OnStar user preferences

After just four steps, OnStar will be activated and ready for you when you pick up your new Opel!
After the 12-month free trial period1, you can decide to continue with OnStar Services.

Don't have an email address?
